Directions for Popcorn Seasoning

There are several ways to pop popcorn, including using a stovetop pot, a microwave, or an electric popcorn maker. Here's how to pop popcorn using each method.

Microwave Popping Bowl

  • Pop open the popper bowl
  • Add kernels to the measuring line on the bowl
  • Place lid over kernels
  • Place in microwave for 2-3 minutes
  • Season with your favourite Pass The Popcorn seasoning flavours
  • Enjoy!

Stovetop 

  • Fill a large, heavy-bottomed pot with about 3 tablespoons of oil.
  • Place the pot on the stove and heat the oil over medium heat until hot.
  • Add 1/3 cup of popcorn kernels and cover the pot with a lid.
  • Hold the pot by the handle and gently shake the pot back and forth to distribute the kernels evenly.
  • Continue to cook the popcorn, shaking the pot regularly, until the popping slows down.
  • Remove the pot from the heat and pour the popcorn into a serving bowl.

Electric Popcorn Maker

  • Fill the popcorn maker with the recommended amount of kernels.
  • Turn on the machine and wait for the kernels to start popping.
  • Once the popping slows down, turn off the machine and pour the popcorn into a serving bowl.
